The cost- and time-efficient design of today's manufacturing processes is closely linked to numerical simulations. By developing applying suitable simulation models, component properties can be specifically predicted and, if necessary, modified according the customer's specifications. One important aspect this adjustment towards advantageous residual stress profiles, for example increase service life or wear resistance. Hot forming offer advantage interaction thermal, mechanical metallurgical effects. In particular, cooling after prior heating forming, in case upsetting, results a phase transformation on microscale material. state, which arises from dislocations atomic lattice, will considered more detail contribution.Here, focus lies analysis microscopic characteristics utilizing multi-scale Finite Element model terms FE2 approach.
